08/22/07 Band Update: Things have been working out great with Ryan on drums, we had two AWESOME shows this past weekend and we've got tons of new song ideas in the works.
Here's a list of stuff we've got coming up:
- Show SAT Oct. 6 @ The Underground, Sandusky, OH (this is (strangely enough) our first show ever in Sandusky)
- Limited CDR release of "this is all real" - This includes the last 16 songs we recorded with Mike F on drums, everything is almost finished, should be available in October (check out the track listing on our Music/Discography page at our main website www.seatac67.com )
- We're also getting very close to having a new album worth of songs ready to record. Several songs(Love Crimes, Hell's Basement, Last Call, 27 Heaven, and Lost) we've been perfoming for a while and then we've got about 7 or 8 new songs that are getting very close to being worked out. We need to finish the new songs, then we'll figure out where and how we're going to record. We'd really like to have something recorded by the end of the year. By that time, we'll probably have a few more songs added to the list, so we could potentially release a CD EP and a Full Length CD, or a couple EP's, maybe a 7 inch, a special double gatefold vinyl LP (yes, we can dream!!), maybe a split with someone or a cassette, who knows, but regardless what format we choose(or can afford) for release(s) we plan to actually try to record at least a few songs in a real studio this time, plus we've got Ryan now to help with the engineering/production, so we can guarantee it'll sound different than anything we've put out yet. We're pretty excited!!! We'll keep you posted as events unfold.....

9/7/07 UPDATE: FULL ALBUM STREAMS
Hi Everybody-

We've got a new CD coming out this October that we recorded in bits and pieces from June 2006 through March 2007. We finally got off our lazy butts and decided to make it available to anyone who wants a copy. It includes 16 songs performed by Carla, Jim, Mike J, and Mike F and is titled "this is all real". We did all the recording ourselves, so it's not quite up to the big studio standards, but we think we've got some great songs on this release. We set up a Pre-Order for the 2 of you that would like a copy shipped as soon as we get them in. These will be profesionally duplicated CDRs packaged in a poly sleeve with a cover/back insert and an all important lyric sheet. In the modern spirit of try before you buy, we've set up FREE Full Album Listening Streams for all 3 of our releases over at our main website: www.seatac67.com, just visit the Music/Discography Page and choose which album you want to hear, click where indicated and listen, then afterwards if you like what you heard: you can visit our ST67 Webstore to order via Paypal or hunt one of us down.

We hope to have some of the new CDs available at our next show October 6th. We plan to perform a few new "Ryan-ified" versions of songs off of this release and we plan to debut a couple brand new tunes at this show.

We're also excited to announce again that Ryan (our new drummer) has a brand new solo CD coming out soon. Check out some of his songs here:
The Tired Eyes. Contact Ryan directly, shoot us a message, or pick up one of his new CD's at one of our shows. His songs are really good! Ryan is getting a few folks rounded up to perform some of his songs live, and we'll be having a party/show sometime in the near future to celebrate, we'll keep you posted.

Plus our ex-drummer Mike F (who performed on our newest release) has been busy working on a new solo project writing some great songs as : External Otitus. Mike is working on getting some people together to perform some of his songs live, we can't wait! Check out some songs here: External Otitus.

That's it for now, I guess. It's Friday night, too many bands I like keep breaking up, it's almost 11PM, I really wish I was at a show right now, but oh well, I think I'll go watch the pixies DVD I just rented, wooo !!

xoxo
